Travel to a New World
Fantasy and Sci-Fi books afford us the opportunity to travel to new and exciting worlds. It also affords us the opportunity to consider our current world's problems and issues in a different light. Here are some great books to enjoy over the summer.
Fever Crumb by Philip Reeve: Fever Crumb is a girl who has been adopted and raised by Dr. Crumb, a member of the order of Engineers, where she serves as apprentice. In a time and place where women are not seen as reasonable creatures, Fever is an anomaly, the only female to serve in the order.
